Eligibility Requirements

Please review the eligibility requirements carefully before submitting this form. Registration requests that do not meet the criteria below will not be processed.

CBSE (Comprehensive Basic Science Examination)

To be eligible for the CBSE, students must:

Have successfully completed MD5, and
Have completed the required Observership, and
Submit an NBME Self-Assessment Score Report with a minimum score of 70% or above prior to the registration deadline.

CCSE (Comprehensive Clinical Science Examination)

To be eligible for the CCSE, students must:

Have completed all core clinical rotations, and
Have completed all required shelf exams prior to the test date, and
Submit an NBME Self-Assessment Score Report with a minimum score of 70% or above prior to the registration deadline.

Shelf Examinations

To be eligible for a Shelf Exam, students must:

Have completed the associated core rotation before the scheduled exam date.

Important:

All eligibility requirements must be fulfilled before the examination date. Students who fail to meet the above requirements will not be registered.
