“My name is Ebuka Ibuoka. I came to All Saints as a leap of Faith in pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a medical doctor. The depth of my story cannot be encapsulated in one paragraph, however through this journey and through the ups and downs, the biggest factor contributing to where I am are the people that I have worked and learned with all these years. I am grateful for the teachers at All Saints, grateful for my fellow students and the people that have charted the course before me. I am most grateful for people like Dr. Dincel who listened and provided advice during many instances of doubt. I am very blessed to have matched into residency and I acknowledge God’s hands in my journey because the work has to be put in, the exams have to be taken and taken well, but so many things are out of our control. Thus, believing and trusting in what grounds you I think made a lot of difference for me. All Saints provided the room for me to get to this point and this July I get to be a practicing Medical Doctor at one of the Top hospitals in the world, and for that I am eternally thankful.”
